Welcome to CIT 101

Welcome to Our CIT Class!

Hello everyone! My name is [Your Name], and I’m thrilled to be your Computer Information Technology (CIT) teacher this year. I can’t wait to get to know each of you and share my passion for all things tech. Whether you’re already a tech enthusiast or just starting to explore this amazing field, you’ll find that CIT is a place to unleash your creativity, learn valuable skills, and discover the many opportunities available in the world of technology.

I come to this role with several years of experience in both education and the IT industry. After earning my degree in Computer Science, I spent time working as an IT specialist for a global software company. There, I delved into everything from coding and network management to web design and data security. While I enjoyed the fast-paced corporate environment, I realized that my true calling was to share my knowledge and help others grow their tech skills. So, I returned to academia to teach CIT courses at the high school level, and it has been an incredible journey ever since!

In this class, we’ll dive into topics such as programming fundamentals, hardware and software management, networking basics, and digital ethics. My goal is to create a hands-on learning environment where we tackle real-world projects and develop problem-solving skills together. I believe technology should be fun, challenging, and rewarding—so expect a mix of collaborative activities, discussions, and lab sessions that spark curiosity and innovation.

I’m truly excited to begin this adventure with all of you. Let’s make it a great year full of learning, teamwork, and technological discoveries. Welcome aboard, and get ready to learn, explore, and be inspired!
